My Task Management App of Choice
I’ve been on the hunt for a new favorite task management app for a few months now after ending a long standing relationship with Things. I needed a tool that would allow me to collaborate with team members but was also efficient for self task management.
I tried several: Asana, Producteev, WunderKit & TeamBox just to name a few. I really liked WunderKit for a while but it became too cluttered & I couldn’t view a “due tasks” from across my various lists in one place. I’ve used Asana & Producteev with clients, and while they’re great for larger team environments I couldn’t find a way to make them efficient for managing tasks for myself.
I don’t quite remember how I stumbled upon Flow but it quickly became my tool of choice!! It allows me to:
- delegate tasks within a project list
- organize lists into Project of Client based folders
- view all tasks grouped by due date, list, or other options
- tag items
- attach files to a task
- set repeating tasks
- and more.
It also has a great iPhone app, the ability to email in tasks, & a Safari plug in that allows me to quickly create a “task” in my Flow inbox with the click of a button for a website I want to read later. Not to mention, the interface is quite pretty :)
Bonus: If you work just a little ifttt magic, you can even text tasks into Flow. Amazing, right?!
If you’re looking for a new task management option, give Flow a try for yourself!
Do you use a digital system for your to do list? I’d love to hear what it is!
